Summary
Backend Developer in Abu Dhabi designing and building APIs and scalable backend services using Node.js/NestJS, Golang, and PostgreSQL, with REST and gRPC integration, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and monitoring tools. FinTech domain experience and FIX Protocol knowledge are a plus.
- Design and implement robust APIs that facilitate seamless communication between the server and client-side applications.
- Optimize backend services for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and performance under heavy load.
- Manage database systems, including schema design, query optimization, and indexing to enhance data retrieval efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure ease of understanding and future enhancements.

Required Skills *
Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS
Proficiency in Golang
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
Experience developing and integrating gRPC APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Grafana
