Plans and delivers multi-phase technology programs at UTA's Los Angeles office: defining scope and roadmaps, running governance, tracking risks and dependencies, and reporting metrics to executives while unblocking engineering teams. Needs 8+ years in program/project management, incl. 4 as a TPM, with Agile, cloud, and data systems knowledge.
You will plan and deliver multi-phase technology programs, define scope and roadmaps with business and technical leaders, establish governance, manage dependencies and risks, communicate program metrics to executives, and remove technical and operational blockers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multi-phase technology programs
- Define scope, success criteria, and program roadmaps
- Establish program governance, status reporting, dependency tracking, risk tracking, and stakeholder communications
- Resolve cross-team dependencies
- Translate technical concepts and trade-offs into business impacts
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks
- Define and communicate program metrics
- Provide executive-ready reporting
- Clarify requirements and remove blockers
Requirements
- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- At least 4 years in a Technical Program Manager role
- Technical knowledge of system architecture, data flows, integration patterns, and engineering trade-offs
- Experience delivering cross-functional initiatives
- Experience working with software engineering and product teams
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Cloud-platform experience
- Experience with modern data systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Executive presentation skills
